If you would like your business to have a presence at the Market Place, please contact Sarah via email sarah@yoursoapbox.co.nz. There is limited space so get it quick, Stalls are $100 each and must be booked and confirmed one week prior to the event.
SoapBox is very pleased to announce two amazing and Inspirational Speakers; Mark Sutherland and James Coddington. Come and get primed for the upcoming winter season, motivated to rediscover your passion for what you do and how you do it.
Mark Sutherland
Peak Performance Specialist
Mark has spent 20 years coaching executives, managers and business owners and 28 years coaching elite athletes including Olympic and World Champions. Mark is based in Cambridge, a town of trees and gold medallists. A specialist in peak performance Mark offers two services;
www.executive4r.com – Recovery from Burnout – coaching burned out business people to Review, Refresh, Refocus and Re-Energise themselves sso they can be back on top of their game.
www.moneyhealthrelationships.com – He helps entrepreneurs, self-employed and business owners to finally take charge of their life and business and ‘Create the life you want to live, then activate it’.
Much of what he does is based on his life in international sport – coaching two Olympic champions and 6 world champions. The margin for error is tiny – a life time dream can come true or be wiped out in 100th of a second.
He views business as a luxury. For the most part business is not an emergency or a one-time chance at a life dream. Mark will introduce to you some key insights on how to think and act like a champion and activate the life you want personally and in business.
James Coddington
Co-Founder of Pride and Joy
James is passionate about leadership and allowing people to grow and develop in their roles. A competitive person with a history of competitive sports, James led NZ Ski as CEO for six and half years. He left the role mid-2013 to pursue a lifelong dream and aspiration to create a global brand built around Kiwi ingenuity and our core values: Pride & Joy.
Pride & Joy’s single purpose is to ‘entrepreneurise’ the remarkable people amongst today’s unemployed and under-employed. It is a business in which ‘Remarkable Unemployees’ can be involved and not only create significant profitability for them but also teach them the necessary skills and experience they will require to build a successful business.
Pride & Joy launched in Auckland on December 16 with two Pods, and now has 3 Pods in central Auckland. They are ‘hatching’ new Pods in Wellington, New Plymouth, Tauranga and other parts of Auckland over the coming weeks. The goal is to have 15 Pods operating in NZ by next summer.
“Nothing of any significance is easy in life. It takes commitment, focus and a dogged determination to succeed, often in the face of detractors, disbelievers and road blocks.”
After the speakers there is an opportunity for members and guests to network – we lovingly call this Liquid Networking which is as good as it sounds. There is a cash bar available and make sure you have plenty of business cards on hand to swap with other like-minded individuals.
We will provide nibbles but why not make an evening of it and visit one of the local restaurants for dinner with some new found business contacts.
To book your seat and purchase a ticket, contact info@soapbox.co.nz.
Update: tickets are selling fast and seats are limited – so get in quick and don’t miss the networking event of the year!
